Document Phone Request for MSDS/SDS

THE PROBLEM: OSHA says that if you don’t get a complete MSDS or SDS [after June 1, 2015, it must be an SDS] from hazardous chemical suppliers you must request one, either by phone or in writing. If your request is made by phone, OSHA recommends that you document the request so you can prove you tried to obtain the MSDS/SDS.
