Question: What do temp agencies have to do to comply with Hazcom?

Answer: According to OSHA,  the temporary agency employer is expected to provide generic hazard training and information about the types of chemicals employees may potentially encounter on the job. Host employers would then be responsible for providing site-specific hazard training under sections 1910.1200(h)(1) and 1926.59 of the Hazcom standard.
